Obverse: Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right. His signature tightly curled hair and prominent beard profile remain clearly identifiable. The Latin legend traces show elements of his imperial titles, with SEV visible.

Reverse: SECVRITAS PVBLICA / S — C (in fields). Securitas (the personification of public security and empire-wide stability) sits comfortably left upon a low throne, extending her right hand to hold a globe.
