This is an official bronze commemorative medal struck by the Monnaie de Paris using the original 19th-century steel dies. It celebrates the completion of the Carrousel Arch in Paris, built to honor the victories of Napoleon's Grande Armée in 1805.

      • Reverse: A detailed architectural rendering of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel by Brenet and Fontaine. Legend: AUX ARMEES MDCCCVI.

      • Edge Markings: Stamped "BRONZE" with the official Cornucopia privy mark. This confirms it is an authentic restrike from the Paris Mint (produced between 1880 and the mid-20th century).

Condition: Beautiful chocolate-brown patina with sharp details and light peripheral toning.
