Description
An exceptional and beautifully toned Henry VIII Hammered Silver Groat from the popular Second Coinage (1526–1544).
Struck at the Tower Mint in London, this specimen features the initial mark lis on both the obverse and reverse. The portrait showcases the distinct Laker Bust D characteristics, exhibiting a remarkably strong, sharp facial profile and excellent detail remaining on the king's crown and drapery.
