Up for sale is a sharp, beautifully detailed Roman Imperial bronze follis (nummus) struck for Emperor Maximian (Maximianus I Herculius, r. 286–305 AD). Minted at Aquileia, this coin features the desirable "Sacra Moneta" reverse type with a glossy, uniform dark patina and crisp legend letters.
