    • An attractive Tudor silver hammered penny of Queen Elizabeth I, struck at the Tower Mint, London during her Second Issue (1560–1561).

      • Obverse: Crowned left-facing bust of the Queen within an inner wire circle. Legend reads: E · D · G · ROSA · SINE · SPINA (Elizabeth by the Grace of God a Rose Without a Thorn). Initial mark Cross Crosslet at 12 o'clock above the crown.

      • Reverse: Long cross fourchée over a square-topped royal shield. Legend reads: CIVI / TAS / LON / DON (City of London).

Condition Notes: A solid, honest specimen grading around Fine / near Very Fine. The obverse portrait shows typical wear but retains good overall presence. The reverse is exceptionally sharp and well-struck, featuring highly legible lettering and crisp shield details. Typical light historic flan irregularities/clipping to the edge as expected for the issue. Untouched, pleasing dark toning.
