  • High-grade Roman Provincial bronze of Diadumenian as Caesar, struck at the prominent mint of Nicopolis ad Istrum under the consular legate Marcus Statius Longinus.

    This specimen stands out for its smooth, glassy, deep forest-green patina and incredibly crisp details—particularly on the reverse legend and the youthful profile portrait of the short-lived son of Macrinus.

    Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding a patera in his outstretched right hand and resting his left hand on a long sceptre. Extremely crisp details on the throne and figure.
