"A beautiful 1869 bronze medal commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Napoleon I. This medal was issued during the reign of Napoleon III.
Obverse: Features a sharp profile of Napoleon I wearing a laurel wreath, inscribed 'SOUVENIR DU CENTENAIRE DE L'EMPEREUR NAPOLEON I' with the dates 1769–1869.
Reverse: A masterpiece of Napoleonic iconography including the Imperial Eagle, the 'Petit Chapeau' (bicorne hat) resting on his sword, the Code Napoléon book, and the Légion d'honneur cross, all framed by oak and laurel branches.
