Details: Up for sale is a beautiful bronze commemorative medal depicting Napoleon Bonaparte on the obverse and the heroic French Imperial Eagle defending itself against the Allied Coalition birds on the reverse.
This is an official restrike produced by the Monnaie de Paris in 1975, using the original 19th-century dies. The edge is clearly hallmarked with the Paris Mint "Cornucopia" symbol, the word "BRONZE," and the date "1975."
