Obverse: Facing figure of Constans II, standing, with a long beard. He wears a crown and chlamys (imperial cloak) and holds a globus cruciger (orb with cross) in his right hand.
Reverse: Large letter M (Greek for 40). Above the M is a small monogram of the Emperor.
