Obverse: Two youthful male heads facing side-by-side; the left head is inverted, a unique diagnostic feature of this mint.

Reverse: Sea-eagle standing to the left, perched on a dolphin which it grasps with its talons. The Greek legend IΣTPI (Istros) is clearly visible above the eagle.
