1811 Worcester County & City Silver Shilling Trade Token. These were issued during the Napoleonic Wars due to a national silver shortage.

Obverse: Features the Worcester City Coat of Arms (Castle Shield) with the legend "WORCESTER COUNTY & CITY TOKEN".

Reverse: Features an oak wreath with "VALUE ONE SHILL" and the motto "TO FACILITATE TRADE 1811".

Condition: Strong details on the oak leaves and shield. Features a gorgeous natural dark patina with some underlying luster. No major scratches or rim dings. Reference: Dalton #1.
