    Up for auction/sale is an authentic Charles I silver sixpence struck at the Tower Mint in London under the Crown initial mark (1635–1636).

    • Obverse: Fourth crowned bust facing left with the denomination mark VI behind the head. Partial legend CAROLVS D G MAG BRIT... visible on the right border.

    • Reverse: Oval garnished shield with cross fleury. Clear Crown mintmark positioned at 12 o'clock between REGNOand CHRISTO. Motto reads CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO.

    • Condition: Exhibits heavy period clipping along the rim—typical for silver coinage in circulation leading up to and during the English Civil War.
