An authentic Tudor silver shilling of Elizabeth I, issued between 1560 and 1561 under the Second Issue.
Mintmark: Martlet (clearly visible on both obverse and reverse)
Provenance: Ex Minster Auctions
Condition: Clear portrait outline with legible legends around the perimeter. Surface exhibits light scratches/graffito in fields, consistent with age and circulation. Full round flan.
