Ruler: Elizabeth I (1558–1603) Denomination: Silver Penny Date / Mintmark: 1582 (Sword mm on both sides) Mint: London Weight: 0.44g Diameter: 13mm References: Spink 2575, North 2001 (Sixth Issue)

Description: A scarcer Elizabethan silver penny dated to 1582 via the desirable Sword initial mark.

Condition Report: The coin is struck on a typically irregular flan and shows some honest historic wear/clipping accounting for the lighter 0.44g weight. However, the central portrait remains remarkably bold, showcasing excellent detail in the Queen's crown, facial profile, and dress. A very pleasing, uncleaned example of this harder-to-find Tudor date.
