Edward II penny, class 11b-Durham

• Obverse: Crowned facing bust displaying Class 11b crown characteristics: mushroom/toadstool-shaped right ornament, broken left ornament, and hooked right fleur with thin stalk. Initial mark Cross Pattée (plain cross) at 12 o'clock. Full legend reads EDWAR ANGL DNS HYB featuring the angled-back 'E'.

• Reverse: Long cross pattée dividing the legend with three bold pellets in each quadrant. Legend reads CIVI - TAS - DVN - ELM.

Condition & Notes: A very attractive, full flan example with clear perimeter legends and a well-centered strike. Displays a rich, dark toning over attractive surfaces with sharp crown diagnostic detail and clear reverse lettering.
