Authentic Ancient Roman Bronze ae3 — Emperor Constantius II (AD 337–361)

Coin Details:

• Obverse ( Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantius II facing right. The left-hand portion of the legend is exceptionally crisp and highly legible, reading clearly: D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG (Dominus Noster Constantius Pius Felix Augustus).

•  The iconic FEL TEMP REPARATIO ("The Restoration of Happy Times") allegorical type. It depicts a helmeted Roman soldier lunging left, bearing a shield, and fiercely impaling an enemy barbarian horseman who is falling from his collapsing steed.
