  •  Rare "Three Lords" Joint-Reign Issue, Struck c. AD 209-211 An imposing, heavy sestertius-sized Provincial bronze piece boasting an exceptionally choice pedigree and deep history. This coin features the rare, highly historic joint-reign reverse type struck during the brief period when Septimius Severus, Caracalla, and Geta ruled alongside each other as three concurrent Augusti.

    Obverse: Laureate, draped, and cuirassed youthful bust of Caracalla right.

    Reverse: VICTORIAE DDD NNN COL ANT / S - R. Nike (Victory) advancing, holding trophy over shoulder. The "DDD NNN" formula stands for *Dominorum Nostrorum Trium* ("To the Victories of Our Three Lords"), referencing the three co-ruling Severan emperors. 
    Control Marks: "S R" in the fields (*Senatus Romanus*), a unique privilege proudly displayed by the colony of Antioch.
