  • Issuer: Alexander II Zabinas (Seleucid Empire).

  • Mint: Antioch on the Orontes (modern-day Turkey/Syria border).

  • Material: Bronze (AE19).

  • Obverse : Features the diademed head of Alexander II facing right. The diadem (royal headband) signifies his claim to the throne.

  • Reverse: Depicts the god Dionysos standing left. He is holding a kantharos (wine cup) and a thyrsos (staff).

  • Legend: The Greek inscription reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ (Basileos Alexandrou), meaning "Of King Alexander."
